Works to straighten hair not so good at curling
I like that it is dual voltage and that is the main reason I purchased this unit. It is a bit bulky to hold, but it works well. I like the location of the "air input/output" at the base; it is well away from your hand when holding it. There are 2 attachments. The small one has brush-like bristles and the large one has spikey bristles. If the spikey bristles were on the smaller diameter rod it would work better to grab the hair and curl it. As it is the barrel of the larger one is too large in diameter to get a good curl (at least in short to shoulder length hair). Both attachments function to dry and smooth the hair. If this is your goal then this should work for you.

Disappointed
I received the hot air styling brush (CD160NN) a few days ago from Amazon. The large brush will not lock in place. The two little protrusions that hold it seems to be in the wrong location or not the right size. The narrow brush will lock as intended. Also, the temp/air speed control changes setting when I use the brush. I haven’t figured out yet if it happens when I very lightly touch it during use or if it powers down on its own. That control switch is poorly located for this reason. It seems underpowered overall but seemed to do an okay job on my hair otherwise.

Best Hot Air Brush on the Market
I needed a hot air brush with an attachment that didn't have nylon bristles. This styler has one brush with all nylon bristles (that I don't use) and one brush with all plastic bristles. The nylon bristles damage my hair when wet so I only use the larger attachment with the all plastic bristles. Furthermore the barrel of the brush conducts heat to help achieve smoother results. This brush is the only one on the market with what I need and the price is so affordable!

Gives great body
This is the only brush/dryer I will buy. My hair is super fine and thin due to illness. The brushes are perfect for slightly layered hair and gives great body. I don’t use anything but this dryer. So glad it’s always available. My last one burned out after about 3 years so the price is in budget.

Terrible lock mechanism
I bought this twice. My first purchase was 2 years ago and the attachment piece broke. I bought another a week ago to replace it. The lock / unlock mechanism does NOT work with the larger attachment. Lining up the holes on the attachment in the unlock position doesn't work to be able to turn it into the lock position. Piece of junk and waste of money.

Low quality
This is the 2nd one I’ve had t buy in 6 weeks. I’ve used roller hair dryers from Conair for years and have loved them. The one I’d had for a couple of years broke so bought a new one. Within 2 weeks I was having problems with the on off switch. Couldn’t switch it to low and then next time I tried to use it, it would not turn off at all. Had to unplug it to keep hair from burning. Was out of town and had to buy a new one. Tried to use it for the first time. The larger brush attachment will not lock into place. Both my husband and I have tried. I have now wasted money on two of these from Conair. Apparently their quality has decreased significantly. Note to self: Save receipts even on product brands you trust. I’m done. Will reasearch other brands even if I have to pay more.

Perfect for Europe
I just got this brush for travel as I needed a 220 volt hot air brush for travel. My expectations were not high, as it would be replacing my much more expensive Hot Tools brush, but it is quieter and just as good. The only lack is a cool setting, essential for holding volume, but I’m really happy.
