This is the first selfie ring light I have ever tried, so not sure if they all need batteries but this one takes 2, put the batteries in and turned it on, it is glorious! It is very secure, not flimsy or cheap feeling, love that half of it is a mirror, perfect for checking everything make up wise prior to taking a selfie. The light has 3 settings Combo, Warm, Cool, love them all. This is seriously so awesome at providing a nice glow in my selfies

I believe that the performance depend on existing lightning condition. it is easy clip on camera so installing it on camera is very easy. It has three option for lighning - Cool, warm and mixed (Mixed is the brightest).
I tried clicking the picture in low light with and without Conair Reflections Selfie Ring Light and found that performance was better in low light while in good lighting conditions it would create halo effect.

Easy to use and great for selfies!
This is such an amazing little device. First of all I love that there is a cool, warm, and combo setting so that you can alter it to suit your specific situation. It's lightweight enough that you can still hold your phone out just fine for a selfie. The brightness of photos is great in the results. This can easily be carried in a purse or even a pocket if need be. Such a great ring light. Love the mirror on it!

Good Idea but...
I was super excited to get the Conair Reflections Selfie Ring Light & Mirror but was disappointed with a few things. The pros: It has a mirror, the light is bright and it has multiple settings. The cons for me were: I can't use it with my Samsung galaxy S21 Ultra because it blocks the cameras. Also, I'd love to see a version that is charged by USB C.
I'll be using it for my laptop's webcam.

A Must Have for Better Selfie Taking
I have been looking for a selfie mirror/light to use with my laptop and cell phone, but could never find one that was for both. It was either made for a cellphone or a laptop. But, ever since I started working remote, I found that when I was in a zoom call, the lighting in my office wasn't as bright and I would look fuzzy or blurry on the camera. I didn't want to invest in a big ring light -- just needed something that would light up and add necessary lighting around myself while sitting at the laptop. And, then when I wasn't using the light for my laptop, I could attach it to my phone and use to take crisper and brighter photos of my family, and of products I was reviewing for my blog.
After much research, I found myself going back to the Conair Selfie Mirror. I loved its portable and compact design, and how it was made to be used with both a laptop and cellphone -- and, it wasn't a list of only a few compatible phones or laptops either. It is battery operated, has an on/off switch, and magnifies 1x. I really like how this selfie mirror/light works. It provides the necessary lighting I need to look clear on camera and makes my photos I take with my cellphone even cleaning and crisper looking. I highly recommend the Conair selfie mirror.

Love this Little Selfie Light
I love keeping this in my purse to pop on my phone if I want to record a forward-facing video or take a selfie. It emits a good amount of light and really makes a significant difference, especially in dull lighting. It's small and lightweight so it's not a hassle to carry around. Overall, I would highly recommend picking one of these up if you take any pics or videos with your phone!

This selfie light and mirror is very easy to use with three different light settings, cool, warm and combo. It's very lightweight and easy to carry. It considerably improves selfie quality especially in the darker environment. It also comes with a mirror which is an additional feature. Other than selfies, you could also attach it to your laptop and improve video call meetings.

This is a just perfect cute mini selfie ring light! It looks sooo natural the combo setting is my favorite it makes me skin look amazing the glow and the color is fabulous! Can't Adjust Brightness
This light works pretty well for something so affordable. Part of my work includes streaming videos from my phone, and I struggle a lot with lighting, so this helps. I like the different light color options. I just really wish there was an option to adjust the brightness, as the only setting can look a little too harsh and too bright.

I work from home and spend a lot of time on video calls—this has been such a lifesaver! Instead of having to spend time getting the lighting right so I don't look homeless, this just clips on my laptop and boom! Good to go! This selfie ring light is my new best friend! I absolutely love how easy it is to use and how well it lights up my face. It does a perfect job as a ring light and is super light and portable. It clips on well to my phone (a Pixel 6) and I love that it has multiple light modes. I'm a huge fan!

Not only does this compact light fit great on my phone, but I absolutely life that it has a mirror included! I've had other selfie lights that were ok but the mirror upgrades this tiny device into something else. I highly recommend if you will be taking a lot of night pics.

The Conair reflections selfie ring light is everything I expected it to be plus more. I had been hearing things about ring lights for awhile now, with the popularity of Snapchat and TikTok growing. I had heard they make you look like you're using a filter even if you're not. Well…That's true plus more! This makes your live videos and photos look amazing and "clean." I expected it to work, but couldn't imagine it'd work as well as it did. I looked flawless even with no make up. This light had really boosted my confidence and I've even Seemed to have gotten more compliments lately while using it. I can't live without it now! I don't even use filters like I used to now that I discovered this. I've recommended this to everyone I've seen!!! Conair has really out done themselves with this and I will never leave my house without it.

Wow, so Brite, it does what it is supposed to do, but im not a big fan of how it clips to the phone, I mean the clip itself is fine, but for me it's a bit bulky. The lights re super bright, 3 different light settings, very convenient.
