Very cute but not effective
This product has potential but did not provide me nice or long lasting curls. You have to be very neat with it as well, and then they kept unraveling from the twist. Sadly did not have a good experience

Beautiful, easy to achieve curls
When I actually received my product I realized it truly was a "retro" curling product as it states on the box. It has definitely been improved. It has both the small diameter and medium diameter rollers in it, and I love that no other hardware is required as the rollers bend and hook into themselves. That worked great. They heat up quickly and the curls came out great using both sizes. My hair did hold onto the rollers so I could wrap them up cleanly, which surprised me as I have very fine hair and I expected hair to keep slipping off. I actually had the opposite issue, hair I did not want to stick would stick to the roller as I was wrapping them up so I pulled my hair a few times. I should have pinned my loose hair back as I was using them, and I recommend you do this to avoid that issue I would recommend this product as the curls were well defined and held their shape, something else I usually have an issue with in my fine hair. I wish there had been more rollers in the kit as I used small batches of hair to ensure the curl would hold so it took a while for me to do my whole head.

Love the Wavy Curls
I would recommend the Conair Hot Sticks Rollers. It gives my hair a nice wavy look. I received this set as a free trial. I had a similar set when I was younger and forgot how convenient they are.

Great results!
The Conair Hot Sticks, a silicone hot roller set with 7 small and 7 medium rollers, offer a straightforward, easy-to-use method for achieving curls in your hair. This set doesn't require any clips or external devices for use. The sticks heat up quickly (around 5 minutes), and it's easy to determine when they've reached the optimal temperature. A small circle on the stand turns white when they are ready. I tried them on both my hair and my sister's!
Pros:
-Works quickly! You only have to leave the sticks in for 10-20 minutes to get either waves or curls.
-You can also use them without heat by wetting your hair and using the sticks as rollers!
-This is such a cute set with pretty colors to have sitting on your bathroom counter!
Cons:
-Material (rubber/silicone) makes hair stick to rollers. It can be challenging to uncurl the hair from the rollers without pulling.
-Does not work as well with hair that is too long or thick. These worked better for my sister since her hair is shorter and less thick.
-Some sticks would pop open after being closed. I had to reapply a couple but after using a claw clip, they stayed in!

voluminous hair
The product is a essentially a hot roller but modern. Great price for it and when using it, it gave my hair so much body. Very easy to us. Would buy it again to gift.

Not only is the heat distribution poor, the pieces don't hold your hair well and ended up ripping some of my hair out. Not something to use if you're short on time.

Fast and easy to use.
This is a good-quick substitute for hot rollers. I took mine on vacation as they are really compact and easy to travel with. They heat up super quick and are easily accessible. I really liked that I could just plug them in and by the time my makeup was finished they were ready to use.
They are very easy to put into my hair and I was able to adjust them however and wherever I wanted very easily. They didn't burn my fingers at all which is something I was nervous of.
The only thing I disliked about them was that when I took them out a lot more of my hair came out too which isn't something I have an issue with, with regular rollers or a curling iron. Although the texture of the rods is great for grasping my hair in the beginning, it is a negative aspect when taking them out as it continues grasping if you're not very careful.
The end result was beautiful though and my hair looked amazing and kept its curl for hours. I really enjoyed using these rods and if it weren't for the hair snagging I wouldn't have anything negative to say. Regardless, these are fabulous hot rods and I will continue to use them but being more careful to remove them from my hair.
