Ironing and steaming has never been this efficient
I generally prefer steamer to the regular flat iron for the added vertical option. However, I always get burned by the upward steam, making ironing fast but more dangerous. With CONAIR Steam & Iron 2-in-1 with Turbo, I don't have to choose safety over efficiency because both are guaranteed! Additionally, with the previous brands I have used, I always get water leaks that leaves more mess than before. The water compartment is very sealed shut within the ergonomically designed handlebar.
With fast acting button choices that starts and stop steam production within a split second, this product is perfect for my jackets and heavy fabric ready for sweater weather! The product also includes bonus accessories for all kinds of fabric needs. I personally loved the delicate fabric mesh that safeguards your delicates from fabric burn. There is also a crease maker that provides focused and targeted lines perfect for dress pants. I've never seen this in other products before!
I would definitely recommend purchasing this product as it heavy duty and the parts feel significant and never cheap. This will work for years of usage not to mention usage all around your house with different settings for your bedsheets, curtains and other fabrics that needed some love.
100% recommendation for friends and family.

Far exceeds my expectations
I bought this, because I needed to press the folds in my Scottish Great Kilt. For those of you who may not know, a great kilt is about two yards wide and six or so yards long. It's pleated in the back and around the sides with two overlapping aprons that are unpleated in front. Traditionally the kilt is spread out on the floor or ground and each pleat is formed before the wearer dons the garment. The pleats are held in place by a belt at the waist. Doing that every time you put it on is a royal pain, so I had ironed and stitched the pleats in place at the waist. As you might imagine, over time the pleats become rumpled and lack the crispness one might like, and the image is not what one would like to present. Ironing them is tedious beyond belief. The turbo extreme made the job much more efficient and effective than pressing with an iron and the job was done beautifully in half the time spent in ironing. I love it. Using the creasing attachment and the Turbo Extreme Steam rendered pleats with knife sharp creases. Touch-ups between wearings is a breeze. The reservoir holds enough water to last a good bit of time and the volume of steam put out gives both the pleats and the aprons a smooth and professional appearance. Did I mention that I love it??!!! Well I do. Works well for cotton shirts and wool vests, too. Brilliant!!

2-in-1 tool that does both jobs well
This is a 2-in-1 tool that does both jobs well. It is powerful as a steamer, which seems to be its main purpose, as opposed to what I've been using, which is an iron that doubles as a steamer. My current iron/steamer is nowhere near as powerful, doesn't produce steam consistently, and is just overall not as powerful.
This Conair 2-in-1 heats up and produces steam very fast, within seconds. There is a sensor feature which makes it so the device can tell when it's been set down on a flat surface and will stop producing steam, then resume again once you pick it up, which is awesome - no fumbling for buttons or switches as you pick it up and put it down. Speaking of buttons, there are only 3 (on/off, steam, and mode) which do everything you need.
Steaming shirts went quickly. Plenty of consistent steam, no sputtering or hesitating, no repeated button pushing to get the steam to come out. Not much to write about - it does what it says it will, and does it well. Same for ironing - I order fabric which comes folded, and getting the creases out before I use it is always a pain. Turns out I just needed a better iron! Using this "face down" without the steam option was a breeze, no leaks, and did the job quickly. There are attachments - for delicates, adding creases, etc - that I haven't used but are great to have.
The singular complaint I have is that it's heavy. If you have pain or mobility issues, using it upright to steam might be a bit difficult.

Steaming over the competition
I was able to try the Conair Turbo ExtremeSteam 2-in-1 Steam and Iron. I own a steamer and an iron separately, so I thought this would be an interesting mix of two products leaving me curious as to if the product would be able to do both jobs equally as well within one product.
Upon unboxing the ExtremeSteam, you notice that the steamer and iron 2-in-1 comes with 3 attachments that assist you in a better steaming or ironing product for those more difficult items. I thought that was a nice little addition to help iron challenging dress shirt collars or creases. You can use the product with or without steam, but the steam makes a huge difference. You must use Distilled Water for the product to prevent calcification, so make sure you buy that with the product to keep it running as it should.
The product is very straightforward to use. There is a mode button that changes the intensity of the steam, an off/on button, and a steam button. The Turbo Mode is very powerful and helpful in getting out any stubborn wrinkles, which was my favorite feature along with the attachments. I was able to get out stubborn wrinkles from my jeans, dress shirts and bedding among other items with relative ease. The steam feature is great! The ExtremeSteam outshines my current steamer, so I can finally retire my old one.
The ironing feature was a little more tricky for me to get the hang. It seemed to take me a lot longer to attempt to iron my items. I felt like it wasn't as easy for me to adjust to using the ExtremeSteam as far as maneuverability like a basic iron would. Out of sheer time's sake and comfortability, I opted to go back to using my standalone iron when in a time crunch because its is a little easier and quicker. That is a feature I am still 'IRONING' out the details.
Overall, I really enjoy using the product for its powerful steaming ability. I would definitely buy this product and recommend it. I am determined to perfect the ironing feature using the attachments to assist in creating a crisp and pri-'steam' final product. I would recommend this product for someone who travels or is limited on space as it can make sure you look presentable for work, play or wherever life takes you.
