CURLS FOR DAYS AND DAYS
I have thick, straight hair that refuses to hold a curl no matter how much hairspray I put in it. This styler was absolutely amazing. Not only was it super easy to use, it didn't damage my hair and the curls stayed in all day (and night) and even into the next morning before I washed them out. The curler was super easy to use and I never burned myself once. Even without a heat protectant, my curls were soft and my hair didn't feel damaged with additional use. For girls who can't keep a curl, I would highly recommend this curler.

Doesn't work, not worth the trouble. Stick with a
I'll preface this review with the fact that, yes, I do know how to curl my hair with a straightening iron. This styler, however, did not work for me.
I wanted so much to love this Conair Cool air styler but it simply does not work and not at all worth the heat damage to your hair. I have long, fine hair and this barely created waves. However, it did manage to create several ugly dents in my hair when I wasn't fast and nimble enough while I was trying to get a better curl. I'm not sure if it doesn't have enough heat or if the dragging it though your hair motion to curl it also causes your hair to still flat and not curled, but it just doesn't work.
I would stick with a curling iron or wand as this took double the time to look like I did nothing to my hair.

it’s okay.
Honestly I don’t know that I love this thing….. I feel like I have to hold this thing for SO long to get it to take shape. I don’t know if it’s the cool air thing, but I feel like my crimper and regular curler do an better job because they are hot. This thing does produce big nice loose curls but it takes like 2-3 times as long! I do like that it leaves you with less heat damage, thus requiring less product….. but unless I really have time to set and do this time , I don’t think this will be the first tool I rush to use sadly.

What A cool design!
So I received the complimentary hair curler from Conair. I will say it’s so nice not having to worry about burning your hands with the outside barrel design and cool tip. The way it heats up is very fast so there’s no lag time. I have used this tool for both straight since the barrel inside is flat and also for curling. The cons of this tool and is it takes practice if your used to a spiral curler with heat gloves. However once I got the hang of it the curls were bouncy and fresh looking. The trick is the wrap all the hair while the barrel is open using a “button” which is so much better then a lever tilt it 180 and glide it down. Also always use heat protectant spray when using styling tools since there are 3 modes of heat L M & H with the setting numbers.

not impressed...requires practice
my review may be influenced by the fact that I already have wavy hair & am inexperienced with using curling irons, but it seems that the appeal of the product was the fan component. personally, it seemed to work better and be a bit less frizzy without the fan. i had to brush my hair out (which i never do) just to get the texture out of my hair ao it would curl, so it left my hair with poofy curls. also, this seems to be a flat iron with a barrel, so if you already curl your hair with a straightener, you can go without this.

fastest softest curls
Heats up and is ready to use in just a minute. Cool to touch on outside, making it safer to use than curling wands. Have tried on both day 1 and day 2 hair and results are about the same. I usually have to use hairspray to make my curls last longer on day 1 hair. Gives you beautiful beach type waves the day after. So easy to use, just like with flat iron and can achieve different kinds of curls depending on technique used. Has become my go to as it doesn’t take long for curl to form and is instantly cooled as it is formed.

This hair styler was kinda hard to figure out. It is like a curling iron, wand, and straightener all in one. It was hard to figure out how to curl your hair b/c it only heated up at the straightening part. You curl your hair with this like how you would with a straightener, which I wasn’t great at. It made loose waves once I figured it out though. I love the cooling feature which sets your hair right after it’s curled. If you want to use it as a straightener, it’s perfect. It worked a lot better than my actual straightener.

Very nice Curler
I received this curler for free from Influenster for my honest review. I have to say when I first saw it I was sure it was another gimmick. But I actually really loved it on my little girls hair! The fan made it cool so I could get closer to her scalp without fear of burning her. Her hair is baby fine but long, and this worked quite well. I did hairspray her hair after and the curls held well. My hair is thick and coarse and it still did better than imagined but gave me more waves than curls like she got. I actually liked the waves better than the curls. My oldest wasn’t a fan when she tried to use it herself, but I used it on her and she loved it her hair is shoulder length, and she has issues with how to wrap her hair. Overall though we all enjoyed the curler!

Not for beginners
I was very excited to try this product. I use a wand to curl my hair, but always wanted to try a curling iron with a clamp. The design of this is a little bulky, but feels okay in your hands. I have fine hair, so I kept it on the lowest setting, as the instructions recommended that. Once I started putting the iron in my hair, it was easy to maneuver and get the hair around the barrel. However, when releasing, my hair got tangled and didn’t produce a curl - it was more like a “dent” in my hair. I tried a few more times and my hair didn’t curl. This could just be me since I’m not used to this type of curling iron, but I was disappointed I couldn’t get it to work for me. I think if you have thicker hair and are used to clamps, this is a great product for you to try!

Styles Hair Without Leaving Hair Hot
Let me start by saying, Conair has been my go to brand for styling tools for years. That said, while I like this specific product, my hair style did not last as long as when I use their other styling curling irons and straighteners. I like that the hair is cool to the touch after using it. The release button takes some getting used to, and the wand doesn't open as much as some of Conair's other styling tools. But overall, I like it and would recommend with the proper products to help hold a hairstyle in place afterwards.

Amazing!
This is hands down the best product I’ve received to review from Influenster! I have straight hair and I love the look of curls but absolutely have no patience for curling my hair. This just solved my problem. I can’t believe how quick and easy this is to use! The cool air helps lock in the curl as soon as the hair comes out of the hot plate which gives you the perfect curl. I could never achieve that with a regular flat iron. I love this so much. I will DEFINITELY be using this on a regular basis. Thank you Influenster!

I have curled my hair everyday for the past 30 years and I can't believe how incredibly fast my hair is curled and done now. This Cool Air Styler heats up very quickly, once you hear the fan kick on it's ready to rock and roll! It's a flat iron in the center which is awesome for those times I fall asleep with semi wet hair and wake up with huge bumps that won't flatten. It gives my hair so much volume which I absolutely love. You can keep your hair flat, curl at the ends, or curl as it's blowing air for big bouncy curls.

Not good for long hair
I have long hair, that comes down to my lower back, I tried and tried and tried to get this to work for me, I even watched a few videos to make sure I was using it correctly. Even though I had it on the hottest setting which my hair usually needs very hot heat or it just won't do anything, I have naturally curly, thick hair but as much as I wanted this to work, it just didn't. Out if the 30+ times I tried to get it to curl one tiny piece I got it to work half way, once! love the idea but this just wasn't working for me.

IDK HOW TO FEEL
Okay so I got this curling wand/iron and tried it out for the first time the other day… it’s not that hard to figure out once you figure out how to turn it on…lol. I tried it on my hair first and wasn’t expecting much but it surprised me and got the job done. For me, I prefer my curling wand over it, HOWEVER, we also tried it on my friends hair and she is someone who has always struggled to curl her hair. SHE LOVED IT. It’s the only curling appliance that she can successfully use herself… so take this how you will.

Pretty Good Styler!
This tool is pretty good overall - it works for me as both a curler and a straightener (though my hair really only holds curls for like five minutes). I liked the cooling technology in that I have pretty short hair and have often been wary of curling it in case the heat tool gets too close to my head while doing so, but I didn’t have that problem with this. I haven’t used many curlers for the reasons above, so saying it’s the best one I’ve ever used really doesn’t mean much, but it’s still a pretty good styler overall!

Not best for beginners
While this tool was effective, it was somewhat difficult to use. I am more of a beginner when it comes to hair tools, and I wouldn’t be able to curl my entire head of my waist-length hair on my own with this tool without help. My sister is more experienced and uses a curling wand several days a week on her full head of hair, and I had her try the tool out, just to make sure it wasn’t just my lack of experience. She said it worked well, but it was harder to use than the wand she uses. She said she had to recurl some pieces more than once. Maybe with more practice she would like this tool more, but she said she got somewhat frustrated with it at times not producing the curl she wanted. She said that it wasn’t a bad tool, but wands seem to be more user friendly to her.

different styles with one product
This product is pretty neat. I truly believe that if you love this product it’s because you got the hang of it quick. If you don’t love it so much it’s probably because you don’t quite got the hang of it. If your not used to the twisting for curls it’s a bit tough but it just takes some practice! I literally cut my hair before I received my email. I would have loved this for my long hair! Now with short hair I have less to work with. With this product your able to do curls, loose curls, or waves and that’s pretty cool.

Was excited to try this product but I really couldn’t get the hang of it. I watched some videos on how to use it. The curls were very inconsistent. Some came out really nice others not. When I would try to go over an area that I had curled before it would just flatten out. The curls also didn’t hold for long. I will keep using it to try to see if the more I use it I get better at it. I did like the cooling aspect of it and I didn’t burn my hands at all while using it. Just wish it was a little easier to get good curls.

Holy cow this made styling my extremely long hair super quick and east and the curls stayed well without using hairspray! I also used this on my daughter who has very thick, course hair and it curled her hair super quickly and easily and my other daughter, who can never hold curls, had curly hair all day!! I see some people left negative reviews, but I think you just have to practice and find the technique that works best for you and follow that. You can create different looks just like with your straightener based on how you hold the iron - ringlets, beach waves, etc. - but the cool air barrel helps create consistent curls and it sets the curl as well. You can turn the fan off if you prefer and you can adjust the heat setting as well! You won’t be disappointed!

Bombshell wave look using Conairs Cool Air Styler!
This was a great surprise and complimentary gift from Influensters! I appreciated how comfortable my scalp felt the entire time when curling my hair in sections all thanks to their cool air system built in place to use it. A great way to achieve soft curls throughout your hair at home. This product does require patience because all curly irons take long when styling an entire head of long hair. It’s easy to use and I’m happy with the frizz this hair tool took away from my finished hair look! A must try and buy!

I have to preface this by saying I have a lot of very thick, long hair. So any tool is going to be a bit of a workout. This cool air styler is an innovative tool that I was very excited to use. It doesnt hold too much hair with each pass, so it took a while to get through all my hair. But the end result was a nice wave with a slight curl. If you’re looking for an actual curler, this probably isn’t what you want but if you want more of a beach wave, this is a nice tool. Especially if you have less hair or finer hair.

It could be better
First off, you need to read the directions to learn how to turn on the product and what each light means. I feel like the grip of the curler could of been tighter. Sometimes my hair kept falling out the curler and didn’t hold onto my hair. I’d need to practice more to see a better way for my hair from falling out the Barrel. The fan can be a little loud, but I do think it help make the curl last longer. The pros is that the curls last the next day for me. If you want, I think it could be use as a straightener also.

Overall good styling tool. I was excited to try this one out. Once I figured out how to use it, it did a good job at curling my hair. It could just be my hair, but it didn’t give a wavy look like I was hoping it rather just gave a tight curl. I had to brush repeatedly out to get a “wavy look.” I tried many different methods and each time gave the same curl. Though I would recommend to someone as the ease of use was great and it definitely held the curl it gave and set up fast! I will continue to use; not not daily.

Even for the Completely Inept!
To start, I have no hair skills. None. Don't even own a hairdryer. So I had to laugh hearing I was selected for this campaign. But joke's on me, it's so easy I made my hair look like I was starting in a Hallmark Christmas movie. They all have the spiral waves just like this! I have waist length hair, and I was able to do half my head with 4 sections. Did I pull out a few strands getting used to the twirl? Yes. But I did get better ad I went, and learned how to turn it correctly and not like a toddler orangutan.

Fantastic Styling Tool
I received this free to sample and I cannot say enough about it. I have struggled trying to use a curling iron or flat iron to make natural looks waves with other tools. This styler feels well made from the second you pick it up. It took a few minutes to see how to set the temperature and have the fan turn on but not difficult at all. It is so easy to use and glides thru your hair without pulling. Each section you curl comes out cool and stays for hours. I had no problem doing my entire head in about 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend this styler to anyone that likes to add a nice curl to their hair very easily without feeling like you are frying your hair from the heat. Such an amazing product and I would definitely purchase this and will recommend to friends.

Big Fan!!
I tried this out on my moms hair which is super thin and doesn’t usually hold a curl well. We were both THRILLED with the result. The curls look amazing and it took no time at all. We used the high heat setting and the fan worked really well. The only negative part of it is that I think the clamp pulls at the hair a little bit, which is why I removed a star. Overall, I would recommend this product though. The photos are of her hair with brushed out curls and the curls before being brushed out. Hope this helps!

so when I got the box I was so excited. I don't style my hair often cuz I stink at it. so when I tried it I was amazed at how easy it was to use. on the straightners that I have used I have always burnt either my head or my fingers and with this one I can touch the barrel and not get burnt. that's a plus for me. I would totally recommend this product. the waves and curls came out good for me seeing I stink at doing my hair I can't wait to have my friend use the styler on my hair to see what it can really do.

My Golden tool
I recently bleached my hair and I was not able to use any tool on my to make better.So I literally been let my hair dryer naturally and was ashamed to go out without a hat or something to cover my hair until I try this new cool air styler by Conair.This is my honest review, that’s the only tool I been able to use it, it doesn’t “hurt” my hair like the others tool I tried to used and I been able to style my hair before go out and not feeling ashamed about my hair.Just to mention is super easy to use it!!!!

Did nothing and hard to master
I really wanted to like this styler, I love the look of the curls made with a regular straightener, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, it did not end well. I tried everything, watched the few videos I could find, experimented this way and that, but it did practically nothing to my hair, except heat it up. Whenever I was somewhat successful with one strand of hair (it never looked like a perfect curl even then), I could never replicate it with another strand, even though I would do the same thing. I wasted insane amount of time trying to master this thing, but I still prefer my good old T3 curling wand which is foolproof every time. One extra star for trying to be a more gentle heat-styling took, but overall it’s a huge disappointment. My hair is long, straight and medium-thick.

I’m impressed
I’ve never been able to figure out how to curl using my straightener. I watched a YouTube video on this styler and figured it out pretty quickly. For my first time using it, I’m impressed! It’s not perfect but was pretty fast and looks pretty good!
Pros - easy to use, not too hot to the touch, heats up fast, gentler on hair with cooling fan
Cons - finger easily changes heat setting while using, fan is kind of loud
I plan to keep using and I think it’ll get easier and easier. Happy I got this to test out!
