Fast reading!
I was gifted this thermometer in exchange for a honest review: This is a very quick reading, accurate thermometer. I've tried other, non-oral thermometers before with my young son and they were either not very fast or not accurate. This is a total game changer. I can now check his temperature without waking him up and it's fast. You turn it on and it is ready to test pretty much immediately, which I have not always experienced with other non, oral thermometers and it gives a reading in like three seconds. It seems very sturdy, comes with batteries so it's ready to go out of the box. Highly recommend to anyone, especially those with children.

Consistent Readings
While reading the reviews for this product, one thing that stood out was folks sharing that the temperature readings were inconsistent. As a mom to a 6 month old baby, this worried me. Not only does this tool get used for obtaining accurate data, but that data is then used to make important decisions about my child's health. So, I read the pamphlet, followed the instructions and tested it many times. Thankfully, accurate readings across the board. I like the device & will keep it for use when we're feeling unwell. I received this from Conair for testing purposes.

Great thermometer! It's lightweight, has a bright screen, and is very easy to use. It runs on 3 AAA batteries, which are included.
There are 2 buttons: Power On/Off and the Scan/Memory button. The memory function is my favorite feature. The thermometer will save up to 32 previous readings which you can review by pressing the scan button before powering on.
My one critique is I would prefer a slightly higher contrast on the screen, but it's still very easy to read.

Amazing product!
I am a conair girl anyway, so when I was selected to review this product I was super excited and the conair infrared ear thermometer did not let me down. As a mom of a rambunctious 5 year old boy, I need a thermometer that is both easy to use and will quickly give a temperature reading. You simply hit the power button, when the lines appear stick it gently into the ear and tap the scan button. Within a fraction of a second you have a clear and accurate temperature displayed on the screen. Love it. Another amazing conair product.

Perfect Thermometer For The Family
The perfect thermometer, especially if you have kids. Very easy to use, kid friendly and reduces up to 99.9% of surface bacteria, which helps prevent germs from being transferred.
I really love how easy it is to read, since the numbers are pretty large and come up on a lighted background. Plus, it's so simple to use. All you need to do is press the power button, when it beeps and turns blue (last temp will show on screen, which is great for tracking), take off the cap, place the probe in ear canal and press scan. If it emits a slow double beep, a low-fever was detected, if it emits a faster triple beep, then a high-level fever was detected.
We were all sick 2 weeks ago, we have an 8 year old and a toddler and this thermometer was amazing to use through the process.

I would buy this product again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion] I used this thermometer on my newborn, as well as my 10 year old who was sick. I really love the fever alert. Gives a fast reading with a beep when it's ready and a beep after the scan. Great product for the whole family. I really love the simplicity of it and the added infrared feature. It's so easy to use and understand with only two buttons, power, and scan. Will definitely come in handy this cold and flu season with 4 kids. I just wish it came with a storage bag!

Works Quickly
I really like how quickly and seamless it was to use this when my child had an ear infection. Due to frequently wanting to check their temperature, it was perfect for getting a quick temperature and either not waking my child up or further irritating them by having to keep it in their ear for awhile. The only thing I didn't like was that I can't input my child's age to assess whether it is within normal range for their age group like I could on my old thermometer.

Great thermometer for your family!
The ConairCare Infrared Ear Thermometer makes a great addition to your home health arsenal! The thermometer is quick and easy to use and appears to take accurate temperatures. This is definitely my go to thermometer vs other infrared thermometers that we have in our medicine cabinet. **full disclosure ** I received the ConairCare Infrared Ear Thermometer for free in lieu of using the thermometer and writing a review.
