No pain, no appointments
The Lumilisse wasn't painful at all. It felt like a little bit of heat. I did close my eyes each time I pressed the trigger because it emits bright light- it was like when you close your eyes when the sun is shining in them. It's so nice to do it on my own schedule and not have to worry about appointments for other types of hair removal. I've only had the chance to use it twice, so I haven't seen any noticable results yet. It is sometimes hard to get it to work on certain parts of my legs, like shins and knees because the head has to be in good contact with the skin. Overall, I'm happy with it and hopeful about the results as I continue to use it.

Love this product!!
I recently received this product in the mail and used it for the first time recently. The product came with everything I needed to start using it right away. The product was lightweight and easy to use. I had never owned a hair removal device like this before. It has clear instructions that detail how to use the product. It has 2 attachments, one to use on the body and one to use for sensitive areas. It also has a skin tone indicator. I like that it is lightweight and easy to use. I would say the only con of this product is that you have to shave and do several treatments before you can start doing it every month or so to help with results. Overall, the first treatment went good with no problems.

It may work in time.
I need to be fair in my review in saying that I didn't see mind blowing results after a couple uses. Maybe that was just false expectations so I can't necessarily fault it on the product itself. It for me was painless and pretty easy to use if you followed the directions. I can't say I noticed much of a difference, however I did not use it for a prolonged period of time and I have read that results get better/more permanent after repeated prolong use. I did notice a slight difference in hair growth, what seemed to be a couple less chin hairs. So I would assume with repeated use this will give me the desired results.

Easy to use, didnt notice much of a hair reduction
So I've done medspa type laser hair removal in the past & I was excited to try something I could do at home for the fraction of the price. At first use, it was pretty easy to understand the instructions. I didnt find myself fumbling to try and figure out how to use it which was a perk. Overall actually using it wasnt very painful. I would consider myself to have a slightly high pain tolerance so take that with a grain of salt. You do have to position it just right to get it to flash but you catch on pretty quickly. I did notice a reduction in hair around my face/smaller areas, but not so much on my arms. Its a decent product but I didnt get the results I was hoping for.

Great at-home hair removal device
This device is incredible...I never imagined it possible to permanently remove hair AT HOME! As in, no more wax or razors for me. This device is FDA-cleared, which made me comfortable in using it on my body, and it's very simple to use. The important thing is to consistently use it if you want to get results. I've been testing it on my legs for a few weeks now and I'm definitely starting to see results as hair isn't growing back, and my legs are smoother. I'm still amazed this is possible, and I can't wait to test it on other areas I'd like to get rid of hair, like under my armpits. This would make a great gift!

Very Impressed With Results!
I waited until I had completed a few treatments before writing a review because I wanted to make sure this little device either worked or did not prior to submitting one. I purchased this through Best Buy. I was a little skeptical because, whereas this is a very small device with nothing more required, I have been to an actual office to have laser hair removal and their equipment was huge and required changing of cartridges. With this little device, you simply press the side of it against your skin to determine your skin tone and then start the treatments! It is very simple to use, and is working great! Although tempting to do more treatments, I have been following the recommended schedule. After all, since it's so convenient to have this at home, there's no problem with continuing with more treatments if the recommended schedule does not give me results. However, that is no the case so far. I am definitely seeing less hair growth. It's very impressive! I am treating my upper arms, shoulders and back of my neck. I am a male with a good amount of hair. The visits to the laser removal office several years ago did eliminate much of my unwanted hair on my back and above areas, but I still have some unwanted hair. I knew laser worked because of my experience at the laser hair removal office several years back. I would recommend this device. It is small, simple to use and works! The only difficulty I have is getting a good, flat surface on my shoulders. For safety reasons, the laser will not work if you do not have it placed on a flat surface, so that is a little challenging in some areas that I am treating. I am doing the treatments myself, by the way. Fortunately, most of my back hair is gone from prior treatments, otherwise my wife would have to help me to get my back!

Feels good, still early to tell
I sampled the Conair Lumilisse IPL Hair Removal Device. It was easy to use and comfortable to hold. I experienced no pain using it, just a slightly warm feeling. It does take some time to go over the area you are trying to remove hair from, which can get a bit monotonous. But I just broke up the sessions to make it simpler. As of right now, I don't see much, if any, changes but it's still early on the process and I am going to keep at it. As long as I see results, I would definitely recommend this to friends and family as it beats shaving it waxing!

Thinner hair
I received the Conair IPL Hair Removal Device free through BzzAgent to try out. I felt the device was a little user unfriendly at first, but once you got ahold of how to use and the repetition of it, it was fairly easy to use. The process was not as painful as I thought it might be just a little warming sensation when pulling the trigger. I'm a little ashamed to admit this but I used this device on my chest. As a woman with PCOS, unwanted body hair appears in the most embracing places. I haven't gotten to use the device for the recommended time, however, I have notice less hair regrow than, and what is growing back is growing in thinner. I am happy with the results, and will continue to use this device to see how much better my results become over time.
