This hair straightener/curler gave me incredible curls and straightened my hair in a flash. Cool air actually comes out of the barrel to set curls quickly! If I wanted to just use the straightening feature, I was able to turn the air off. In the photos, the back of my hair is my natural wave, and I used the curling feature on one side, and the straightening feature on the other. This is seriously exactly like the L'ange Le Duo 360 Airflow Styler, but without the price tag. It's a must buy if you curl your hair often!

I wish it worked as well as I wanted it to on thic
I was really hoping this could be a great, affordable alternative to a certain very expensive cold air styler. Unfortunately, this product just could not handle my very thick, Mediterranean hair. Both the clamp and the cold air fan were too weak to hold my hair in place sturdily and have much of a styling effect. Whatever minimal wave/curl I do manage to get after very persistent use lasts a few seconds before falling back into a limp form. I'm hoping this is a problem with my technique (although I'm not too hopeful) rather than the product, so we'll see.
On the plus side, the straighter function worked better for some reason and my hair responded well to the classic flat iron functionality. Unfortunately, not the feature I was crossing my fingers to have work better.

Awesome
Wow...this is pretty cool. I love the little details put into this design. The changing tempatures and the on/off button on the outside versus in the inner clamp. To me the little things mean the most to me. With that being said there is one tib bit of an issue. The clamp doesn't open as wide as I would like it to. Overall this still is hands down above excellent. I would definitely recommend it.

The Superior Styler!
My hair is long, and extremely curly making it very difficult to style. I've tried so many different hair straighteners/curlers over the years. None of which were able to style & tame my hair until now. When I tried my new Conair Cool Air Luxe Styler For the first time I was absolutely amazed at how quickly it heated up, and how well it worked both straightening & curling my hair. I now have the best of both worlds all in one leaving my hair always looking like I just walked out of the salon.

I really love the conair cool air luxe styler. Usually other hair straighteners make my hair smell like it's burning but this one didn't and I like that you can adjust the temperature because others I have purchased don't have the option. It is really easy to use and love how it leaves my curls

Quick, easy, and doesn't catch my hair
It was super easy to use. The fan made my hair cool enough that it cut normal styling times about ten or so minutes since I didn't have to wait for my hair to cool to continue styling. The best part though? With my regular straightener, my hair always catches when I use it to curl, but there has been zero catch the 4 times I've used this. I think it's a fantastic tool for daily use.

Amazing Tool
I'm soo happy they finally came up with something that is not bad for my hair. The COOL AIR technology is a genius invention. My hair is less damaged and styles great. My only complaint is that the wand doesn't open too wide. Which is kind of frustrating but it's not really a problem or a reason that could hold me back from buying again.

It's a great all in one it helps your hair not get burn while either curling or straighten your hair, it helps you protect your hair from so much heat the only down side I had was that the top end doesn't have a way to handle while curling or straighten and I would get burn a bit but other then that it's the best tool to have at home which gives you the benefit of cooling while curling or straighten or either turning off the cooling process. This is a must have for every women and easy to carry around.

User Friendly for Beginners

Not a tool I would reach for often
I have used this tool for about a week now and can't say it's my favorite.
The positives:
- I love the cold air function so my hair cools down right away
- dual voltage is good for international travel
- gives my hair a blown out look that's different than what I get with my curling iron
The negatives:
- less control over my curls than I get with my iron
- my curls fall so quickly! I basically never have this issue with my curling iron
- temp goes to 400, I have thick hair and prefer tools that go to $450
- hard to get the hang off and rarely get consistency with my style
Overall, this is not a tool I'd reach for instead of my curling iron or my straightener because I think it does both things worse. However when I am traveling internationally next month I would consider packing this since it's dual voltage.

Room for improvement
All around I found it more difficult and time consuming compared to other products that I use. It did leave my hair smooth and shiny in some parts but it was not easy to use. I used small sections of hair. The hair that wrapped around would tighten the plates, causing the hair to pass through to get stuck or pull hair out of scalp. The plates were too short and hair would slip out of side. There was no place for fingers to grip at the end for better control. Upon turning the device, I kept accidentally pressing buttons and turning off or turning up the temp.
Perhaps it would work better if it had small teeth on side of plates so hair can pass through without slipping out. Adding a knob at the end for fingers to grip for better control. Maybe switches instead of buttons would work better or a sliding cover that goes over the buttons.

Holds curl well
I have fairly wavy hair but have always struggled to get my hair to truly curl. I was really excited for the opportunity to try this product and was intrigued by the cool air technology. Overall, I found it easy to use and it heats up quickly, though I do wish the power button was in a different location. My hair curled easily and more importantly HELD the curl for a while. I think the cooling fan really makes a difference in helping the curls to set!

Wow!
This product is amazing!. It works beautiful. It cools your hair after the curl. I've never used anything like this before. It's perfect for short or long hair. My daughter used it too. Her hair is short. This is better than the expensive name brand irons and curlers its better because it's a all in one. No need to clutter up your bathroom. I would buy this product if it was on sale a little... as it is kinda pricey. Definitely a excellent item!

I wanted this to work
I was really excited to try this product. It's beautiful and easy to manipulate out of the box. The instructions were very clear.
I have thick wavy hair and find myself using products to help me straighten my hair. My waves never sit right and I thought this would help.
I plugged in the curler/straightener and let it heat to the third hottest setting. The flat iron part was very easy to use. However, it didn't straighten as well as my home straightener.
As for curling my hair? That just didn't happen. I hoped and wished but I could not get my hair to stay in the straightener. After numerous tries, I finally submitted. I placed a one inch piece of hair in the curler and it slipped out, over and over again. The fan really didn't get a chance to be tested.
I'm disappointed but still think this is a great product. It just didn't agree with my hair.

Falls flat
I tried using this product as both the straightener and curling iron. As a straightener, the plates were small and took too long to straighten since it could only handle so much hair at a time…and my hair is thin to begin with. As for the curling portion I like the cooking fan that made it cool to the touch and to set the curl but despite trying at different angles it just gave my hair a weird flip at the end. I was very disappointed

Love this styler!
It heats up quickly, never pulls or pinches any of my hair, and painlessly creates beautiful curls. The plates slide effortlessly over my hair sections while the air blows gently, and I have my hair styled in a matter of a couple of minutes. It truly is amazing and is actually way better than I expected! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. I have extremely fine hair, and it styles it beautifully and the style holds all day.

Great Tool, once you figure out how to turn it on!
I really liked this two in one tool. I was looking for a straightener and having the curler was a great additional. The features/options were great. However, I found the instructions lacking. It took me a few tries and patience to even get it to turn on (press the button down a few seconds). Then there was no guide on what temp to use. I was able to figure it out and not burn my hair off, but it was a learning process.

New favorite curling iron!
Absolutely loved this curling iron. I've never been able to get cascading curls that stay all day. The cooling feature on this is no joke. Effortless curls that are locked in all day even without hair spray. I loved the temperature control option (something my last curling iron didn't have) so I don't fry my hair. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to replace their ancient curling iron (or any curling iron) like me

This is extremely difficult to use.
I attempted using this device on two separate occasions and it was time consuming and did not really work for me. The straightener portion was a pain to use. You physically have to hold down the one end of the straightener portion to close it enough to use that function. The curling function did not work for me at all. It left my hair with a very minimal wave that did not last more than an hour.

Finally - a great hair tool!
I really love this Conair Cool Air Luxe Styler. I have to be honest, I was a bit skeptical about it at first - it seems as though you hear about new hair tools every other week so I wasn't sure if this would be a hit or a miss but I'm so happy It wasn't too good to be true. I love all of it's features. I'm so happy with it that I will be purchasing one for my friend as a gift. It is so easy to use!

Curls..straight…you are covered!
Style that lasts…yes please! This tool is is great for the person that struggles with curly styles staying. The cool air tech is there to set those curls in and does just that! From morning to evening you are good! If you want to wear a straight style, you can do that too! Waves..absolutely! I love that I can have one tool and use it for multiple styles. Which is less to pack when we travel lol.

Learning curve but beautiful results!
The Conair Cool Air Luxe Styler is easy to use once you get the hang of it, but there is a learning curve, it took me a few times to get used to it so I took a star off for that reason. It's not effortless, but with nearly all products you can expect needing to learn how to tailor the product to best fit your hair type and desired look. I have fine hair so it was a bit difficult to use at first. What I found for my fine hair is that you should keep the barrel horizontal and turn more than a quarter, more like 180 to 360 degrees in order to get a bit more tension to create a lovely curl. The best thing about this product is that while the fan is a bit noisy (I would not use if not trying to wake up someone else), it truly keeps you from getting hot. Play around with speeds, how much you turn the barrel, and vertical vs horizontal to get the result you want and to find what works best for YOUR hair.

Works like a regular flat iron
I did like how this makes it easier to curl your hair with a flat iron. It curls great and would be great for someone who has a hard time with a regular flat iron. I didn't expect for the outside of it to be so hot, I thought the cool air feature would be cooler than it was. It was not so hot as to burn you but still hot to the touch. It did produce great curls that last great!

Good product
I have been using this 2 in 1 iron for a few weeks and overall it's a pretty good product. It's easy to use, especially the curling iron part glides nicely on hair. It doesn't pull on the hair. The straightener part also works good. I like that you can control the fan part of it. It's definitely good for traveling since you get both straightener and curler in one.

Conair Cool Air Luxe Styler
Just recently got this Conair Cool Air Luxe Styler. Absolutely wonderful product! I love that it has multiple heat settings and love that it is a two in one product (hair dryer and straightener) cutting down the amount of time needed to style your hair. The cool dryer really helps hold the style for a longer period of time. Would recommend to others!

I have really fine hair and I love the waves this creates and for a night out is great. Unfortunately the curls with my hair don't hold long so isn't something i would be doing every day.
It took some time getting used to. I wish it opened further and the controls are a bit hard to navigate.
Overall I'm very happy to have a new look for going out!

Works well
Love multi use tools so this 2-in-1 is nice to have. Hair glides through smoothly and effortlessly. The straighten function works better than the curling function as the jaws don't open very wide. You can only work with a bit of hair at a time too so that can be very frustrating to someone with thick hair. Nice curls though once you figure it out.
